  • Support preventative care programs to address disease prevention and early detection.

  • Address disparities and strengthen community health systems.

  • Foster Senior Services to help combat social isolation, support independent living, and civic engagement.

AFFORDABILITY & ECONOMIC STABILITY

  • Invest responsibly while being a good steward of public dollars to strengthen services.

  • Prioritize attainable housing options for working families.

  • Foster economic growth by attracting new businesses and help existing ones expand.

  • Prioritize tax dollars and policies that will not overburden residents.

  • Advocate for improved citywide transportation and expansion of bus routing within the city.

PUBLIC & COMMUNITY SAFETY

  • Support neighborhood safety programs: violence prevention initiatives, and behavioral health programs.

  • Support school safety programs and emergency preparedness initiatives.

  • Tailor to the unique needs of veterans by fostering veteran workshops for employment, entrepreneurship, and partner with local programs to connect individuals to support services.

Santiera's commitment to serving on City Council is rooted in her desire to strengthen communities through responsible leadership and decision-making.
